R4C

LIMTED STOCK The new R4C design has many improvements over the oriental R Class throw off. Due to the new design the R4 has fewer parts, is lighter and will now fit on 4" deep snare drums. Other features include a user adjustable friction control for the snare tension control and the swivel lever.

Mounting spacing is adjustable from 1/2 inch up to 1 1/8 inches with the unique slotted mounting channel hole design. Included mounting screws will work with a shell thickness up to 1/2 inch.

The mounting track has been modified to allow it to be fitted to shells of various thickness without need for special fasteners - handy for manufacturers who make shells of different or thicker dimensions.

 Because of the reduced size and the use of lighter casting materials the weight of the R4 is substantially lighter than the current R ClassALL New Genuine Dunnett part with all-metal die-cast construction for maximum durability. Feature allows this model to retrofit many snare drums on the market without drilling new holes. Should fit DW snares with busted Nickel strainers....Incorporating a design element akin to hydraulics, this snare strainer is quiet, smooth, and strong and will not detune. Its patented design features integral cylinders and pistons that provide precision movement to + .002 

Tensioning of the snares is maintained by way of a tune locking-torque adjustment system. Having a tensile strength of 3,700 lbs., an ANSI standard connecting link provides precise and durable toggle mechanics. An undercarriage gives uniformity in directional tensioning on the snare bed.
